Iske alawa 35% horizontal reservation Bihar-domicile mahilaon ke liye category totals ke andar hi shamil hai. Divyangjan ke liye VH-02, HH-01, OH-01 aur MH-01 seats hain, aur freedom fighter ke dependents ke liye 02 seats hain. Ek zaroori note ye hai ki selection process ke dauraan vacancies badh ya ghat sakti hain.
BTSC FSO eligibility ke liye chaar routes me se koi ek poora hona chahiye. Pehla route: Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry ya Medicine me Bachelor, Master ya Doctorate. Doosra route: Food Technology group (11 subjects) ya Agricultural Science group (8 subjects) me se kisi ek subject me Bachelor, PG ya Doctorate. Teesra route: MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BAMS, Siddha, Ayurvedic ya Sowa Rigpa Medicine & Surgery. Chautha route: FSSAI New Delhi dwara notify kiya gaya koi aur programme, jise Central Government ki poorva anumati ho. Appointment se pehle FSSAI ke directions ke hisaab se training bhi hogi. Eligibility ki poori jaankari official notification me di gayi hai.
BTSC FSO ke liye age limit 01.08.2026 ke hisaab se tay hogi. Minimum age 21 saal hai. Maximum age UR ke liye 37 saal, UR mahilaon ke liye 40 saal, BC / EBC (purush aur mahila) ke liye 40 saal aur SC / ST (purush aur mahila) ke liye 42 saal hai. Relaxation me Divyangjan ko +10 saal, 3+ saal ki continuous regular service wale Bihar Government servants ko +5 saal (higher pay-scale service ke liye) aur ex-servicemen ko 3 saal + service period milta hai, lekin application ke waqt actual age 57 saal se zyada nahi honi chahiye. Ek candidate ko teenon relaxations me se sirf ek hi milegi. Date of birth ka proof Matriculation certificate ke hisaab se hoga.
BTSC FSO ka application fee sabhi categories ke liye Rs 100 hai. Fee online mode me pay karni hai — Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking ya UPI se. Bank charges extra hain aur bank dwara kaate jayenge. Ye fee General Administration Department ke resolution no. 15568, dated 21.08.2025 ke aadhar par tay hui hai. BTSC FSO ka exam Computer Based Test (CBT) hoga — 100 MCQs, Hindi + English dono bhashaon me, 2 ghante ka samay, kul 100 marks. Marking scheme me sahi jawab par +1 aur galat jawab par -0.25 milega. Multi-shift papers me normalisation lagu hoga aur result normalisation ke saath declare hoga. Minimum qualifying marks UR ke liye 40%, BC ke liye 36.5%, EBC ke liye 34% aur SC / ST / mahila / Divyang ke liye 32% hain. Bihar se bahar ke candidates (mahila aur Divyang samet) ko UR-level 40% laana hoga. Selection sirf CBT se hoga, koi interview nahi hai.
BTSC FSO ke liye apply karne ke liye btsc.bihar.gov.in par jayein, Food Safety Officer – Advt No. 29/2026 advertisement kholein, register / login karke online form carefully bharein, photo aur zaroori documents upload karein, Rs 100 fee prescribed online mode se pay karein aur form submit karke submitted form + saare certificates ki hard copy apne paas rakhein. Ek zaroori baat — submit karne ke baad koi correction ya change allowed nahi hai, isliye form bharte waqt details dhyaan se check karein.
Documents me Matriculation ka original certificate, saare saal ki marksheets + original / provisional degree, caste / non-creamy-layer / EWS certificate (jahan lagu ho), domicile / residence certificate, Divyang certificate (jahan lagu ho), ex-serviceman certificate (jahan lagu ho) aur recent photo chahiye. Photo 3 mahine ke andar ki honi chahiye — chehra aur sir upar se thodi tak dikhna chahiye, aankhen khuli hon, white background ho, koi shadow na ho aur chashma utaar diya gaya ho. Kam se kam 5 extra copies apne paas rakhein. Photo ID ke liye Aadhaar preferred hai, nahi to PAN / Driving Licence jaise ID chalenge, aur wahi ID exam aur counselling me bhi dikhani hogi. Incomplete, unclear, unsigned ya late forms reject ho jayenge aur fee refund nahi hogi. - Food Safety Officer (FSO): Any ONE of 4 routes: (1) Bachelor / Master / Doctorate in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry or Medicine; (2) Bachelor / PG / Doctorate in one of the listed Food Technology group (11 subjects) or Agricultural Science group (8 subjects) subjects; (3) MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BUMS / BAMS / Siddha / Ayurvedic / Sowa Rigpa Medicine & Surgery; (4) any other programme notified by FSSAI New Delhi with prior Central Government approval. Training as per FSSAI directions before appointment.
Maximum age: UR 37 years; UR women 40 years; BC / EBC (male and female) 40 years; SC / ST (male and female) 42 years.
Relaxations: Divyang +10 years; Bihar Government servants (3+ years continuous regular service) +5 years (for higher pay-scale service); ex-servicemen 3 years + service period, actual age at application must not exceed 57 years.
Only ONE of the three relaxations applies per candidate. Date of birth proof as per Matriculation certificate.
Reservation is for Bihar domicile candidates only. SC / ST: caste + domicile certificate; BC / EBC: non-creamy-layer + domicile; EWS: income & asset certificate (valid 1 year from issue) + domicile; certificates issued by competent authority of permanent-address circle.
35% women horizontal reservation is for Bihar permanent residents only. Divyang candidates need a certificate in the prescribed format; medical board re-verification applies; scribe facility is available for benchmark (40%+) candidates on marking Yes. Freedom-fighter dependents (grandchildren — pota / poti / nati / natini) get 2% horizontal reservation with the prescribed certificate; successor ID card is NOT valid proof. Transgender / Kinnar / Kothi / Hijra candidates get BC-category reservation benefit.
Pay Level-06, revised pay structure (unrevised Grade Pay Rs.4,200, Pay Band-2). No rupee salary range is stated in the notification.
