For SCI SPA eligibility, a candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Selection in SCI SPA Recruitment 2026 takes place in four stages. Stage 1 is the Objective Type Written Test of 100 marks with a duration of 1.5 hours; the minimum qualifying marks are 50, and there is no negative marking in the objective test. Stage 2 is the Shorthand Test of 100 marks — a 7-minute dictation at 110 words per minute followed by 45 minutes of transcription — with minimum qualifying marks of 50. Candidates who qualify in the objective test are called for the shorthand test in a 1:10 ratio. Stage 3 is the Typing Test of 20 marks with a duration of 10 minutes and minimum qualifying marks of 10. Stage 4 is the Interview, for which candidates are shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio. The answer key of the objective test will be uploaded on 8 December 2026, and objections can be filed online from 8 December 2026 to 9 December 2026 (11:55 PM) at Rs. 100 per objection; the fee is refunded if the objection is upheld.

The Senior Personal Assistant post is a Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) post carrying salary in Pay Level 8 — Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100, with an initial basic pay of Rs. 47,600 plus allowances as per rules.
