Notification 04 August 2026 ko jaari hua, aur kul 518 posts hain. Online application 10 September 2026 se shuru hua. Last date pehle 09 October 2026 thi, jo badhakar 24 October 2026 kar di gayi hai — isliye jinhone abhi tak apply nahi kiya, unke paas extended window ka mauka hai. JKSSB Advt 08/2026 ke 518 posts chaar departments me bate hue hain. Sabse bada hissa Health & Medical Education Department ka hai — 421 posts. Uske baad Higher Education Department me 48 posts, Agriculture Production Department me 46 posts, aur Labour & Employment Department me 3 posts hain. Named posts me Junior Pharmacist, Junior Staff Nurse, FMPHW / MMPHW, Junior Lab Technician aur Horticulture Technician Gr-IV shamil hain, aur baaki posts notification ke hisaab se hain. Department-wise breakup se candidates ko ye samajhne me madad milti hai ki zyadatar posts health sector me hain.
Eligibility post-wise hai, jaise official notification me prescribed hai. Example ke taur par, Junior Pharmacist (Health & Medical Education) ke liye 10+2 with Science + Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institute chahiye. Domicile ki shart dhyaan rakhne wali hai: candidate ko UT of Jammu & Kashmir ka domicile hona chahiye, aur Competent Authority se prescribed format me valid Domicile Certificate hona chahiye. Ye certificate cut-off date (last date for submission of online application) tak held hona chahiye — original notification me 09 October 2026, jo extension ke baad 24 October 2026 ho gayi. Age limit 18 se 40 saal hai, as on 01 January 2026, aur relaxation official notification ke rules ke hisaab se milega. Application fee Unreserved candidates ke liye Rs 600 aur SC / ST / EWS / PwBD candidates ke liye Rs 500 hai, aur fee official notification me prescribed online mode se pay karni hai.
JKSSB Advt 08/2026 ke selection process me interview nahi hai — notified selection stages me interview shamil nahi hai. Selection teen stages me hoga: Written OMR Examination, uske baad Medical Examination, aur phir Document Verification. Exam ki date abhi Notify Soon hai, admit card exam se pehle milega, aur result ki jaankari yahin update ki jayegi. Candidates ko official website par exam se judi update dekhte rehna chahiye.

Candidates must be domiciles of UT of Jammu & Kashmir. A valid Domicile Certificate from the Competent Authority in the prescribed format is required. The certificate must be held on / before the cut-off date (last date for submission of online application; 09 Oct 2026 in the original notification, since extended to 24 Oct 2026).
No single pay scale applies to all 518 posts — pay is post-wise (item-wise) in Annexure-A of the official notification. Examples: Junior Pharmacist (Health & Medical Education) — Level-4 (Rs 25,500 – 81,100); Horticulture Technician Grade-IV (Agriculture Production) — SL-2 (Rs 15,900 – 50,400).
