The Bihar Public Service Commission has published the written examination result for the posts advertised under Advt. 90/2025 in the Sports Department, Bihar. The result covers District Sports Officer, Assistant Director, Sports, Assistant Director, Youth, and Lecturer, S.H. and Physical Education College posts. Candidates who appeared in the objective and subjective written examination held on 29 January 2026 and 30 January 2026 can now check whether their roll numbers appear in the official merit list.

A total of 304 candidates appeared in the written examination. Of these, 75 candidates have been declared successful on a combined merit list prepared from written-examination marks, graduation marks, marks for a sports professional course, and marks for sports achievements. The category break-up is Unreserved 37, EWS 6, SC 4, ST 3, EBC 15, and BC 10, adding up to 75. No candidate was available under the backward-class women, visually-disabled, or freedom-fighter grandchild categories.

The Commission has stated that the result may be amended if a clerical or typing error is found. It has not stated any cut-off marks in this notice, and no interview date has been announced yet; the interview programme will be published separately. Successful candidates should therefore keep the official PDF safe and wait for the next notice on the BPSC website.
