The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Bihar PGMAC 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result on 6 November 2026. Candidates registered for Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC)-2026 can now check their allotted college and specialty on the board’s portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The counselling fills MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB seats in Bihar’s government and private medical colleges against the 50% state quota, based on NEET PG 2026 merit and candidates’ filled choices.

Under the board’s revised schedule (Advt. No. BCECEB(PGMAC)-2026/03), the provisional allotment order can be downloaded from 6 to 12 November 2026, and document verification and admission will run from 10 to 12 November 2026. Allotted candidates must log in to the counselling dashboard with their application number and password, download the allotment order, and report to the allotted college with original documents, including the NEET PG 2026 scorecard and admit card. Missing the 12 November deadline cancels the allotted seat.

The board has also released the Round 1 opening and closing ranks (file PGMAC26_OCR_R1): closing NEET PG ranks are 774 at IGIMS Patna, 998 at Patna Medical College, 2,141 at Nalanda Medical College, 3,708 at Darbhanga Medical College, 4,002 at JLNM Bhagalpur and 4,610 at BMIMS Pawapuri. The PGMAC 2026 counselling covers 1,139 seats. Candidates not keeping the Round 1 seat can use the free-exit window on 17 and 18 November and fill fresh choices for Round 2, whose allotment result is due on 25 November 2026.
