Scientific Assistant ka kaam drugs ki testing aur analysis se juda hai, isliye is post ke liye degree ke saath-saath 1 saal ka experience bhi zaroori rakha gaya hai. Aage eligibility, age limit, fee, exam pattern aur selection process ki poori jaankari di gayi hai.
BTSC Scientific Assistant vacancy me kul 6 posts hain. Category-wise breakup is tarah hai: Unreserved (UR) 03 posts, Scheduled Caste (SC) 01 post, Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) 01 post aur Backward Classes (BC) 01 post. Ye experience ki shart dono degree holders par lagu hoti hai, is baat ko advertisement me saaf-saaf likha gaya hai. Jo candidates poochte hain ki BTSC Scientific Assistant ke liye 1 saal ka drug-testing experience compulsory hai ya nahi, unke liye jawab haan hai — bina is experience ke application poora nahi mana jayega.

BTSC Scientific Assistant ke liye age limit 01.08.2026 ke hisaab se tay hogi. Minimum age 21 saal hai. Maximum age UR (male) ke liye 37 saal, UR female ke liye 40 saal, BC / EBC (male aur female) ke liye 40 saal aur SC / ST (male aur female) ke liye 42 saal hai. Government servants / State Government / Commission / Corporation ke employees ko 5 saal ki relaxation milti hai, lekin maximum age 55 saal se zyada nahi hogi. Bihar contract employees ke liye koi alag relaxation nahi di gayi hai.
BTSC Scientific Assistant ka application fee sabhi candidates ke liye Rs 100 hai, jo sirf online mode me pay karna hai. Fee non-refundable hai, aur ek post ke liye pay ki gayi fee ko doosri post ke liye use nahi kiya ja sakta. BTSC Scientific Assistant ka selection Written CBT + contractual experience ke weightage se hoga, uske baad document verification hoga. CBT me 100 MCQs honge, 2 ghante ka samay hoga, kul 400 marks honge, sahi jawab par +4 aur galat jawab par -1 milega, normalisation lagu hoga aur questions Hindi aur English dono me honge. CBT marks ko 75 tak scale kiya jayega — (marks obtained x 75 / full marks). Contractual experience ke liye 25 marks tak milenge — 5 marks prati saal, dinon ke hisaab se pro-rata (days / 365), 5 saal tak, Bihar government / non-private institution me equivalent post par contractual service ke liye, jo 25.09.2026 tak gini jayegi. Merit list kul 100 marks ki hogi.
Qualifying percentage (400 marks me se) UR ke liye 40%, BC ke liye 36.5%, EBC ke liye 34% aur SC / ST / mahila / Divyang ke liye 32% hai. Syllabus me do streams hain — Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences aur Chemistry. Har stream me 100 MCQs, 400 marks, +4 / -1 marking aur 2 ghante ka samay hai. Contractual experience: up to 25 marks — 5 marks per year, pro-rata on days / 365, up to 5 years, for contractual service on the equivalent post in a Bihar government / non-private institution; counted up to 25.09.2026.
Merit list totals 100 marks, followed by document verification of qualified candidates.
