Short Information: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA Foundation Result 2026 on 06 November 2026 on its official website caresults.icai.org. Candidates who appeared in the examination held on 02, 05, 07 and 09 September 2026 can now check their result / merit list / cut-off marks using Roll Number and Date of Birth.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the result of the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination held in September 2026. The result was announced on 06 November 2026 on the official result portal, caresults.icai.org. The examination was held on 02, 05, 07 and 09 September 2026 across 580 examination centres in the country.
A total of 1,04,240 candidates appeared for the September 2026 Foundation examination, of whom 19,736 have qualified — an overall pass percentage of 18.93%. Among male candidates, 10,931 of 53,398 passed (20.47%), while among female candidates, 8,805 of 50,842 passed (17.32%). Kansika from Hisar and Mahek Gupta from Hyderabad have jointly secured All India Rank 1 with 361 marks out of 400 (90.25%). Sparsh Khandelwal from Ajmer and J Jayanth from Chennai share the second rank with 359 marks (89.75%), and Vaibhavi Singhal from Gwalior is third with 358 marks (89.50%).
Candidates can check their scorecard on caresults.icai.org by opening the Foundation September 2026 result link and entering their six-digit roll number, registration number and the captcha code shown on the screen. To qualify in the Foundation examination, a candidate must secure at least 40% marks in each paper and 50% in aggregate. Candidates who have qualified can now register for the CA Intermediate course.
