Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has invited online applications for 6 non-teaching posts under Advt. No. CUSB/Advt./50/2026, dated 6 November 2026. It covers Group A, B and C posts — Internal Audit Officer, Medical Officer (Female), Assistant, Junior Engineer (Electrical), Laboratory Assistant and Lower Division Clerk. Applications open on 7 November 2026 on the university website; the last date is 7 December 2026 up to 5:00 p.m.
The Medical Officer needs an MBBS degree with 3 years of hospital experience, including one year in an Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward; the age limit is 40 years. The Assistant needs a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of service as UDC, while the Junior Engineer (Electrical) needs a B.E./B.Tech. with one year of experience or a Diploma with 3 years. Laboratory Assistant needs a B.Sc. in Physics with 2 years of laboratory experience, and the LDC needs a Bachelor’s degree with English typing at 35 wpm or Hindi typing at 30 wpm. Age limits are 35 years for Assistant and Junior Engineer and 32 years for Laboratory Assistant and LDC.
The fee for this Central University of South Bihar non teaching recruitment is Rs. 1,000, exempted for SC, ST, PwBD, female candidates and regular CUSB staff. Candidates who applied under advertisement 46/2026 must apply afresh with a latest EWS certificate valid for 2026-27, but need not pay the fee again. - Internal Audit Officer: Deputation only. Audit and Accounts Service officers holding an analogous post, or 3 years regular service in Level 11, or 5 years in Level 10 in Audit and Accounts. Pay Level 12.
- Medical Officer (Female): MBBS recognised by MCI + 3 years hospital experience (1 year in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward). Age limit 40 years. Pay Level 10.
- Assistant: Bachelor’s degree + 3 years regular service as UDC (Level 4) + typing/computer proficiency. Age limit 35 years. Pay Level 6.
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech. in relevant field + 1 year experience, OR Diploma + 3 years experience in CPWD/State PWD or similar. Age limit 35 years. Pay Level 6.
- Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc. (Physics) + minimum 2 years experience in maintenance of sophisticated scientific instruments. Age limit 32 years. Pay Level 4.
- Lower Division Clerk: Bachelor’s degree + English typing 35 wpm OR Hindi typing 30 wpm + computer proficiency. Age limit 32 years. Pay Level 2.
