Short Information: District Child Protection Unit, Darbhanga, Government of Bihar has released the Darbhanga Children’s Home Final Result 2026 on 03 November 2026 on its official website darbhanga.nic.in. Candidates who attended the counselling and interviews held on 26–28 October 2026 can now check their name in the merit list PDFs for the Children’s Home (Boys), Children’s Home (Girls) and Observation Home.

District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Darbhanga, Government of Bihar, has published the final result for Advertisement No. 02/2026 on 3 November 2026 for 36 posts in the Children’s Home (Boys) Units 01 and 02, Children’s Home (Girls) Units 01 and 02, and the Observation Home, Darbhanga. Of the 36 posts, 34 candidates have been selected, while 2 posts remain unfilled because no panel candidate was available. The merit lists, with category-wise panels, and the absent lists are published on the district portal darbhanga.nic.in.

Counselling and interviews for the seven posts — Educator (Part Time), Art & Craft-cum-Music Teacher (Part Time), PT Instructor-cum-Yoga Trainer (Part Time), Care Taker-cum-Vocational Instructor, Cook, Helper-cum-Night Watchman and Housekeeper — were held on 26, 27 and 28 October 2026 with verification of original documents, under memo no. 1403 dated 31 October 2026. In all, 96 candidates are in the merit panels and 99 were absent. During document verification, three Cook candidates were given zero marks for experience because their certificates were irrelevant, and one Educator candidate was rejected for not producing the original experience certificate.

Each category-wise merit panel is valid for one year; if a vacancy arises in that period, the next candidate in merit order from the panel will be appointed. The two unfilled posts are PT Instructor (EBC) in the Children’s Home (Boys) and Cook (EBC) in the Children’s Home (Girls). Candidates should check their name, post and marks only in the official merit list PDFs linked below, on darbhanga.nic.in.
