The two PDFs published on 22 October 2026 should be read together, because they do not repeat the same list. The main list places candidates in merit order, while the reserve list is a separate list that follows it. Both documents concern the same Librarian post in the College Education Department, and both arise from the same 2023 competitive examination, so a roll number must be checked in the list that matches its heading rather than assumed to appear in both.
The PDFs also carry their notes. A roll number marked with the letter P is provisional, and the main-list PDF says that candidates who received age or other relaxation, apart from fee relaxation, were considered in their category under a Rajasthan Government circular dated 26 July 2017. In addition, the result of roll number 2529213 is withheld for administrative reasons, and the results of 68 candidates in the main-list PDF are kept in a sealed cover because a case is pending in court. Those entries therefore need the official PDFs, not a summary, before any conclusion is drawn about them.
For candidates, the step is therefore straightforward: open the official main-list or reserve-list PDF, find the roll number, and read the category row and any mark beside it. The cut-off tables in this post are a guide to the printed thresholds, but the PDF list itself remains the record of selection, and its notes explain why some entries are provisional, withheld, or sealed.
