The Union Public Service Commission declared the written result of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2026 on 19 October 2026. The written examination was held on 13 September 2026, and 8,956 candidates have qualified for interview by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The roll numbers in the official PDF are course-wise, and some candidates appear in more than one list because there are common candidates in the four lists for various courses, except for OTA (Women). Admission is offered to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for courses commencing in July 2027 and October 2027. Candidates should read the press note carefully, because the candidature of every qualified candidate is provisional and depends on the submission of original certificates in support of age, educational qualifications and other claims within the deadlines stated in the PDF.
