The West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC) has issued a further recommendation from the reserve list for the post of Work Sarkar (Advertisement No. 06 of 2023) under Buniadpur Municipality. The Important Announcement, numbered WBMSC/Web/24/Direct and dated 16 October 2025, recommends a single candidate from the General (GEN) category for appointment against the vacancy. The recommended candidate is SUBHAJIT NAYEK, Roll Number 5000048, whose date of birth is 18 December 1993. This recommendation has been forwarded for further necessary action toward appointment.

The reserve-list recommendation became necessary because the Directorate of Local Bodies, Government of West Bengal, did not approve the appointment of Joydip Ghosh, whose recommendation for the post stood cancelled. His experience certificate in “Road Measurement” was found to have no connection with the experience required for the post of Work Sarkar. With that recommendation cancelled, the Commission has recommended the next eligible candidate from the reserve list, Subhajit Nayek, in his place. Candidates should verify their details in the official notice and keep checking the WBMSC website for further updates.
