Bihar Vidhan Sabha Sachivalaya, Patna, has invited online applications for the post of Office Attendant (Karyalaya Parichari) under Advertisement No. 02/2026. A total of 5 vacancies are open in Pay Level-1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900 plus allowances). Online registration starts on 07 November 2026 at 11:00 AM, and the last date to apply online and pay the fee is 06 December 2026.
The 5 posts are divided as Unreserved 01, Scheduled Tribe 01, Extremely Backward Class 01 and Backward Class 02, including 03 posts reserved for women under the 35% horizontal reservation. Candidates must have passed Matric (10th) or an equivalent examination from a Board recognised by the State or Central Government. Selection will be through an interview of 100 marks, and the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the interview. If the number of applicants exceeds 40,000, a preliminary OMR examination may be held first to shortlist about 10 times the vacancies for the interview. The application fee is Rs. 400 for most candidates and Rs. 100 for SC/ST (Bihar domicile), 40% or more Divyangjan and all Bihar-domicile women.
