A provisional answer key is published so candidates can check their responses against the board’s expected answers before results are finalised. It gives learners a transparent way to understand how their multiple-choice answers will be assessed, and it also creates a short window for genuine errors to be corrected. Candidates should open the PDF carefully, match each question number with the correct subject section, and note any answer they believe is wrong. Before raising a challenge, they should gather clear supporting evidence, because a claim without evidence cannot be considered. Each objection should clearly mention the subject and class, identify the question concerned, and explain why the published answer needs revision. The board then places valid objections before a committee of subject experts, which reviews the material and decides whether a change is justified. After that review, the final key is prepared. If no objection arrives by the deadline, the provisional key is treated as final, so checking the document promptly matters. Candidates should rely only on the official board website for updates and keep a copy of the PDF and any objection they send for their own records.
