Short Information: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I) Result 2026 on 05 November 2026 on its official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared in the examination held on 12 April 2026 (Written Examination) can now check their result / merit list / cut-off marks using Roll Number and Date of Birth.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026. A total of 617 candidates have qualified in order of merit, on the basis of the written examination held on 12 April 2026 and the subsequent interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. The selected candidates will be admitted to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 157th Course and to the Naval Academy for the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

The result is available as a merit list PDF carrying the roll numbers and names of all 617 candidates, and the same result is also published on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. The results of the medical examination have not been taken into account while preparing these lists. The candidature of all selected candidates is provisional, subject to submitting the requisite certificates for date of birth and educational qualifications to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Army Headquarters, and not to the UPSC.

The marks of the selected candidates will be made available on the UPSC website after 15 days from the date of declaration of the final result. For the date of commencement of the courses, candidates should visit the Ministry of Defence websites — joinindianarmy.nic.in, joinindiannavy.gov.in and careerindianairforce.cdac.in.
